Please join us on November 19, 2026, at the home of our Membership Registrar, LeaLea Van Winkle-Gisler, who has graciously agreed to host this event. 

 

We are excited to welcome new members, veteran members, and corporate members!  Whether you are a fresh talent looking to break into the industry or a seasoned professional wanting to expand your network, this event is your chance to connect directly with leading DMCs and tour operators.  It is the perfect environment for newcomers to find new opportunities and for veteran guides to reinforce their existing partnerships and possibly discover fresh avenues for growth. 

 

It will also be the perfect opportunity for (1) new and veteran guides to connect, collaborate, and build supportive mentoring relationships, and (2) for everyone to meet our newly elected Executive Board members.

Getting There: Because traveling the Greater New Orleans Bridge at rush hour can be a nightmare,  LeaLea suggests parking in the One Canal Place parking facility, and then hop on the Ferry to Algiers Point, taking the 5:45 p.m. ferry.  (The ferry runs every 30 minutes.)   Her house is just three short blocks from the ferry landing.   The last ferry leaves Algiers Point at 8:30 p.m.

Special Note:  If you do decide to drive, please note that there will be one lane closed on the New Orleans-bound side of the Greater New Orleans Bridge due to bridge repairs.  However, by the time the meeting is over, traffic on the bridge should not be a problem.
